The new year is coming- it’s time to prepare for it!
In my opinion- the best place to start planning for something new is to start exactly where you are right now.
Let’s take a look back at how this year went and do some reviewing and reflecting.
The below journal prompt is a fantastic way to look back at the year and go through your wins, your losses, your ups, your downs- your lessons learned and what you hope to do better in the future.
Sitting down in a relaxing place with a nice beverage and your favorite pen and journal is a great way to do this and get these questions answered for yourself.
I promise if you go through this prompt, regardless of what transpired this year, you’ll feel better about moving forward and starting a fresh year in a couple of weeks.
Dwelling on the past isn’t sexy, but preparing for the future is.
The problem is- if we only look at what we want to accomplish and don’t remember and reflect on what we’ve already managed to create for ourselves- we’re missing a big part of the equation.
Gratitude + Appreciation make for a successful future, always.
No amount of planning and preparation and goal-setting will circumvent the power of being grateful and having faith that you can actually succeed at something in life.
If you have any issues, get stuck or have any questions while going through this prompt- I invite you to take some time and reflect and think deeper.
Some of these questions might make you think a bit more than you intended lol- that happened to me.
If you find that you need support or someone to hear you work through some things- find someone you trust or rely on.
If you want to talk to someone who is a completely unbiased but very likable stranger- my door is always open.
Reach out to me directly here: email@example.com and I will do my best to assist you in any way that I can.
If you find that you are excited about the 2019 planning portion of the worksheet and wish to go further into all of the goals you plan on slaying in the new year, you’re in luck. I have some 1 on 1 Goal Setting Strategy Sessions available right now before the new year begins.
Go to HERE to book a time to talk. The call is 2 hours and there is some pre-work (that you can also do in your fancy journals).
Looking forward to seeing you win in the new year!
